What is Time Line Therapy®?
Time Line Therapy® (TLT) is a powerful type of regression therapy developed by Dr. Tad James, that combines Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Hawaiian Huna. Interestingly, Ghita Andersen's TLT technique is more trance immersive than a Life Coach's method might be. Ghita is trained in Time Line and Hypnotherapy by Tad James Company and she is an intuitive, so her time line regression process is much longer and trance-like. If you have ever tried Time Line Therapy® with another practitioner, you may find this method very different. You may even go back to a previous lifetime.
What is the Difference Between Time Line and Past Life Regression Therapy?
Time Line Therapy goes back to earlier times in this life and Past Life Regression Hypnotherapy concentrates on previous lives only.
How Does TLT Work?
Time Line Therapy® is based on the concept that our unconscious mind stores memories in a linear pattern (like a timeline). Simply put, this timeline is a mental photo album of our current life, and of previous lives. Intrigued?
A Time Line Therapy® session may involve going through emotions methodically (anger, sadness, fear, and guilt) to help clear the emotional background noise. Time Line Therapy® provides powerful processes and techniques for personal change and growth by helping the client remove any of the painful emotions attached to a particular memory or event - over life times. Furthermore, it works to release emotions that still cause stress in the adult mind and body.
The Subconscious Mind
Time Line Therapy® is a powerful healing modality that bypasses the thinking mind and goes straight to deep healing on the subconscious level. This technique is so amazing, that some clients cannot even remember WHY they felt so upset at the beginning of the session when they first arrived. This is why Time Line Therapy® remains the most popular technique in modern neuro-linguistic programming (NLP).
Time Line Therapy® can also help clients work past any limiting beliefs that are keeping them in the past and preventing them from living their best life. Unwanted negative emotions and feelings, and limiting beliefs can have a huge affect on our lives.
In Time Line Therapy®, we go back to the moment an emotion was born within you. Rather than reliving old hurts and traumas, we stay distant from the memory using powerful imagery. To start, we visualise a line stretching back through through your current life to the time you were born.
A huge advantage of Time Line Therapy® is how it enables the client to let go and clear all the chains of emotion, rather than focus on one at a time. For example, imagine the client is experiencing anger problems. TLT can support the 'letting go process' and help eliminate all anger from the past, not the one feeling attached to the particular event or memory. In other words, Time Line Therapy® helps clients release anger from the root cause.
From this place of safety and distance, we can heal and release the 'stuck' emotion, and replace it with new learnings and wisdom. When the original root cause is healed in the past, the You living in the present can move on. Hoorah!

Releasing Negative Emotions From Events
It is often not an old memory of an event that is the problem, it is often the emotion attached to the event. Negative emotions get in the way of one's work, relationships, health and life etc. Taking away the negative emotions attached to past events changes a person's behaviour and perspective on life.
TLT is an invaluable technique in helping people resolve negative emotional issues from the past and let go of limiting beliefs and decisions that may prevent positive progression. Examples of limiting beliefs include, “I don’t deserve it”, “I can’t do it” and “I’m not good enough”.

Can it Erase Painful Memories?
Time Line Therapy® does not delete events from a person’s memory, only the negative emotions attached to these. While floating above, they are asked to go to the point where the anxiety has reduced and the event causing the anxiety has been completed.
