WHAT IS NLP?

According to a 2009 clinical trial, Timeline Therapy™ (an NLP method) was found to be more effective than Hypnotherapy or other methods of Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 64 participants for acute stress.
How does NLP work in real life?
During conversations, most of us fixate on words. What does this person mean and what shall I say in return? Did you know that words are the least meaningful aspect of communication? Words convey just 7% of meaning! For example, when someone tells you they’re willing to help you organise an event, but their voice is flat and their facial expression looks like you just invited them to an evening of electric shock torture, it is fairly obvious that something else is going on. Although their words said 'Yes' their non-verbal communication – the other 93% – says they are likely to ditch on the day. NLP is that 93% communication.
But here’s something even more interesting: Most people don’t realise that communication is made of so much more than interactions between people. There exists an entire world of communication within your mind and body. An inner-life. Moreover, your mindset, attitude, and feelings are also an active form of communication. The most important communication is not between people but within people.
