Money is tied to our sense of self-worth and our feelings of power and powerlessness. So, it is not uncommon for money to trigger us when unexpected things happen like additional bills, and we are not prepared with 'rainy day' money.
With the budget recently affecting so many Australians, money is going to be a massive trigger affecting life quality and relationships for the foreseeable. If you already have triggers from childhood that bring up the feelings of powerlessness, this will not go away with affirmations, so it is a good idea to work on these, so that you can think rationally and plan better. You can't be in problem-solving brain if you are constantly in fight or flight mode. So, what are the best modalities to work on limiting beliefs or fears about money? Afterall, you don't want to waste more money by choosing the wrong method. Here is the breakdown from someone who has tried most methods over the last few decades: Time Line Therapy: Time Line is regression hypnotherapy that takes you back to specific times in childhood when things happened to make you come up with either negative coping mechanisms or beliefs about money. We go back to the root cause of issues and clear it there. (2 hours) Clinical Hypnotherapy: When you have compounded events or conditioning from family: Example: Your dad said (often): "You have to work hard for money." "Money doesn't grow on trees." "Who do you think I am? Rockefeller?" Hypno works best on repeat to fully take, but once gone, it is gone forever (4 or 6 pack is best: once or twice a week - plus session recordings to listen at home.) NLP Submodalities: When you have one conscious memory of something negative relating to money (trauma). We layer a good memory on top of the bad memory to diffuse it. It must be a conscious memory. Otherwise, Time Line Therapy is better I hope that that helps to explain the different methods. Anyway, don't leave it. It won't go away by itself.
